Cybele: You're a much smarter woman than I am - to decline the Vine.
Thanks for recognizing my sacrifice...

Tripp: I think I had some Grape Vines once long ago - from a concession stand at a UofO basketball game when I was about 11. But it's possible that I dreamt it... much like I vividly dreamt about oversized Oreos (not DoubleStuff -but big in circumference) years before Nabisco actually (briefly) produced them. I'm something of a snack food clairvoyant, I reckon.

I doubt the sicle versions are worse than the chemical-tasting waxiness that is a Twizzler. The little cherry nib Twizzler is another story. That somehow works.

Speaking of viney treats, have you tried the purple grape Red Vines? Apparently they are a limited ed.

There is an orangsicle version. I saw them at the All Candy Expo and just couldn't bring myself to take a sample.

I've had cheapo "chocolate vines" before and they're just horrible. You're doing a great public service here.
