Bite Sized Desire

Working in an office, I am surrounded by delectable aromas that come out of the microwave. The food always smells so delicious that I wish my Lean Cuisine would turn into a juicy hamburger with chocolate French fries.

When I finish my cuisine, I sit back at my desk and begin to feel this force that turns my head towards the drawer next to my keyboard. One of my coworkers gave me a bag of the tastiest little bite size candy bars, Dark Chocolate Nestle Crunch Bars (one of my weaknesses).

I am not trying to lose weight, but just maintain my figure so my wedding dress will fit perfect in a few weeks. That voice inside my head, though, keeps whispering, “One bite size bar won’t show a new crunch on my thighs”. But I know if I have one, I will have another, and then I will find myself surrounded by the miniature wrappers and chocolate on my keyboard. I continue to do my work, until the force takes over. I grab the miniature piece of Dark Chocolate Nestle Crunch heaven, and put the rest back in the drawer. I devour this sweetness and I must tell you, I am satisified!

But . . . one more won’t hurt me, and by the way, it is said that dark chocolate is good for you.

Great subject!!! Proud of you.
Those dang desk drawers at work.
We just keep those for food- nothing
business related!!!

Good job,

Luv ya,
Me

Cute article and so true. I am curious about the chocolate fries. Where is my dark chocolate? I too heard it is good for you. Thanks for the fun reading and good luck with the wedding dress fitting. Need to stay with the “bite size”. Tell your coworker to give you one piece a day to keep in your desk to avoid that “one more” temptation as I sit here and eat my whole milk chocolate candy bar.

What a fantastic article! You should be writing for Vogue! It makes me want to eat A BIG NESTLE CRUNCH BAR. Foil and all. Awesome job!
