The World’s Richest Dessert
When my sister introduced us to New York City’s favorite sweet shoppe, Serendipity 3, a few years ago, I quickly became a fan. A popular haunt with celebrities like Madonna, Andy Warhol, and even President Bill Clinton, the place is rife with history and has been around since 1954.
They have just introduced the world’s richest dessert to their menu … the Grand Opulence Sundae. It’s vanilla ice cream topped with caviar, imported chocolates and real gold, served in a crystal goblet. At the price of $1,000 a pop, this is one we’ll be admiring from afar, thankyouverymuch. It’s made the Guinness Book of World Records and requires a 48-hour-advance reservation.
