Kinder Happy Hippo Cacao . . . mmmm

breakfast-017.jpg

When my friend Virtual Frolic gave me a box of Kinder Happy Hippo candies, she described them as being like giant Kit-Kats. I can understand how she could use that analogy. The Happy Hippos have a light and crispy wafer exterior, much like the inside of a Kit Kat. And inside is a plethora of rich, smooth, creamy chocolate. Two layers of different flavors of it, in fact. To me, the taste is more like a giant Roche without the nuts.

Yes, they are really in the shape of a hippo. It’s kind of cute, actually.

In any case, these are melt in your mouth, can’t get enough, good.

Oh, and as for where they come from. They are made in Germany, but seems to be carried in Europe, the United States and Australia. Definitely worth a try if you see them (or order Kinder Happy Hippos from Amazon.com).
