Candy Lip Balm

My local Wal-Mart Supercenter just added a huge new display of candy flavored lip balm. It was incredible to behold! Flavors included Hershey’s, Reese’s, Reese’s Pieces (how that can be that different, lip balm-wise, I don’t know), Jelly Belly, Junior Mint, Bubble Yum, SweetTarts, Cinnabon, Sugar Daddy, Tootsie Roll, and more. They’re made by a company called Lotta Luv, which seems to specialize in making brand-name food flavored lip balms.

I nearly bought a Junior Mint one - it smelled just like a Junior Mint - but finally decided not to because it offered no SPF protection, and I already own more than enough lip balm as it is. They were only $0.97 each, so I may cave the next time I go back.

Lotta Luv has been around for a few years, but they may be planning some sort of expansion and amping up their advertising. Getting Wal-Mart to put up an aisle-end display right by the entrance couldn’t have been cheap. If you can’t find Lotta Luv products in stores, you can buy them online, but it’ll cost ya much more than a buck.
