Tasty Childhood
Living in Dallas, the temperature is still in the 90s not feeling like September. Besides ice cream on a hot day, popsicles are a tasty way to quench your taste buds and escape to childhood for a moment. My favorites are the cherry and strawberry flavors. Popsicle recently came out with slow melt popsicles and their ad is right when they say, “ Less mess, no stress”. When it comes to eating, especially ice cream, I am slow. So these popsicles were a great invention for people like me. The flavors are lemonade, cherry, and strawberry-kiwi. Delicious!
Speaking of going back to childhood, last weekend my husband and I had a good old-fashioned Nestlé’s drumstick. I have not had one in so long and forgot how good they were. Just from the first bite of the roasted peanuts and chocolate coating on vanilla ice cream made my taste buds scream in delight. And putting chocolate lining in the cone was genius. Thank goodness only one comes in a package and I can put the rest in the refrigerator!

Its great that these new kind of popsicles are available now.
To think of all the ones that got
away from me (melting) when I was
younger.
Now that Im older, I may need this
kind anyway.
Sounds like a good afternoon treat
at work. I mean both- the popsicle
and cone. Yummy
