Cheesecake Kisses
Before 1990, all there was to Hershey’s kisses was the classic milk chocolate drops wrapped in silvery foil. Then came a few changes in the line-up, such as Almond, Mini and Hugs. However, in the last four or five years, Hershey’s has been giving us new, limited editions of one of the quintessential chocolate candies of America. Some of them have been so popular that they’ve made it into the permanent product line-up (caramel, for example).
I found their New York Cheesecake flavor just recently while on a quick visit to the US and immediately felt attracted to them. Being both a chocolate and cheesecake lover, I couldn’t see how these guys would let me down. Turns out, I was right.
The limited edition Cheesecake Kisses come in a foil wrapping similar to that of the Almond Hugs: golden and striped. The plume reads just “Cheesecake” on it. Upon unwrapping you’ll find a what looks like a regular milk chocolate kiss. Although the texture of the chocolate seemed a bif different, I felt that this one was more reactive to heat, and therefore started melting just by touching.
The first candy I bit in half to see the interior. Inside I found the cheesecake filling. The first taste impression left me with much more chocolate than cheesecake flavor. This was solved by not eating the candies on very hot days, since the flavor of the chocolate is milder when slightly cooler. Once I tasted them like this, I was hooked. My only problem now is stopping myself.

OMG…no way I am even going to try
& find this one I would no doubt eat
the entire bag just writing this my mouth is watering.
