Tic Tac Chill Exotic Cherry
Mints and I go way back. Waaay back. I always have some sort of mints in my purse, my tote, my desk drawer, my car. Whether it be Mentos, Tic-Tacs, Lifesavers or some other flavor-of-the-day, I have it. The running joke is that I think that Mentos cure everything. Hey, they sure cure alot. So when I spied the new Tic Tac Chill at the grocery store, I grabbed them for a taste.
These are sized a little bigger than a regular Tic Tac, so I don’t feel compelled to eat them two or three at a time. One at a time does just fine. They are sweetened with xylitol instead of aspartame, so that cuts down on the fake aftertaste. The cherry flavor is very mild at best, so if you’re not a big fan of cherry, you might like these. However, when you think of Tic Tac, you think of mint. It’s just the way life goes. No mint taste here. Sorry folks. No strong cherry flavor. A hint, yes. But just a hint. They sort of reminded me a little of strawberry Mentos, without the chewiness. Honestly, they didn’t do anything for me. I missed the minty taste. Will be on the lookout for the Paradise Mint flavor next. Who knows - that could be my new favorite.
The Tic Tac Chill retails for approximately $1.50 a package. There are 36 mints in each container. Their other flavor available in the new Chill line is Paradise Mint.
